Seven Bridges MSE Bridge Headwalls

By creating the appearance of an old-style stone bridge in a country setting, Seven Bridges residential development wished to brand their community with a unique aesthetic feature.  SKW helped achieve this goal by creatively preparing the footing, structural design and detailing for the community’s award winning bridges. The headwalls used blocks to mimic natural limestone, pilasters were constructed on the face and top of the wall using these blocks to create reveals and shadow lines on the headwalls. SKW received the 2007 Award of Excellence for outstanding use of concrete masonry products.
