City View Apartments of Northgate Village

Located in North Kansas City, MO, the City View apartments were designed with people-friendly features:  sidewalks, a resort-style pool, community center, and open landscaped spaces.  Phase I developed 27 individual buildings and parking for 168 vehicles; Phase II will add 13 buildings and 98 parking spaces.  SKW provided civil engineering services for construction of the apartments including the schematic design, preliminary grading plans, the finish floor elevations for all building structures, storm drainage structures and the sanitary sewer system.  In 2006, City View was awarded the Missouri Outstanding Project of the Year Award by the Missouri Chapter of the American Planning Association.
