U.S. Navy Willow Glen Golf Clubhouse

In partnership with the design-build team, SKW provided design services for a 16,300 s.f. clubhouse for the U.S. Navy Willow Glen Golf Course at the Great Lakes Naval Station in Illinois. The project revamped existing retail and office space, food and beverage operation, and banquet and reception facilities.  SKW was responsible for the site design, landscape architecture and parking lot expansion.  Keeping the existing clubhouse in operation throughout construction of the facility, and appropriately addressing existing lake drainage patterns created considerable design challenges on the project.  Both issues were successfully addressed in the final project.
