Downtown National Register Historic District Building Exterior
When the City of Lee's Summit, MO wanted to compile a structural report on the existing physical condition of 44 buildings located in Lee' Summit's Downtown commercial area and listed on the National Register, they asked SKW to conduct the survey using a Leica high definition survey (HDS) 3-D lidar scanner. SKW survey crews documented the physical exterior of each building (from grade to rooflines) including height and width of each wall, the windows and door openings, spaces between openings, roof lines and architectural features.
