Cogeneration Ethanol Plant
A new state-of-the-art electric cogeneration facility was built in Laddonia, MO. SKW developed the project by working with the Missouri Public Utility Alliance (MPUA) and Missouri Ethanol, LLC. The project scope included a 14.3 Megawatt gas turbine/electric generator system, turbine building facility with control room, 69 KV substation, 69 KV electrical connection to grid, gas pipeline with metering/regulation, and SCADA system for local/remote monitoring /control. SKW's services included developing the project concept, feasibility study, engineering design, air permit preparation/coordination, equipment specification/procurement, utility coordination with gas pipeline and electrical utility, preparation of construction bid packages, construction observation/inspection, and commissioning.
