Quintiles Clinical Research Facility

Quintiles, Inc., a clinical research facility in Overland Park, KS, selected SKW to provide engineering services for the new 236,000 s.f. facility plan.  SKW's work on this two-phase, design-build project began by preparing a topographic survey and demolition plan for the site.  SKW design teams then used the survey data to prepare the site plan, including utility coordination, grading, storm sewer, sidewalk and a 1,136-stall parking area.  Segmented retaining walls were designed throughout the parking lot and expanded detention facility.  An entrance plaza and planting plan were also prepared as part of the landscape design efforts.
