Bell Prairie Elementary School
The first elementary school in the State of Missouri earned a LEED™ Gold certification by incorporating SKW green design strategies throughout the entire project. Sustainable features include building orientation to maximize solar access; protection of on-site streamway and riparian corridor; restoration of native plant community; biorentention basins to manage stormwater; a drip irrigation system using 100% captured rainwater and landscape amenities suited for the region.
