Truman Medical Center Hospital Hill Parking Garage

This design-build project created a new parking garage for 1,208 vehicles on the urban campus of Truman Medical Center's Hospital Hill in Kansas City, MO. As the site design engineer, SKW's storm drainage and detention facility design used a combination of swales, storm inlets and pipes for underground detention. Site work encompassed a loading dock, three separate garage entrances, grading, courtyard, curbs and sidewalk replacement, upgrade of ramps, and design of water, electrical, and sanitary sewer service lines.  SKW also designed street improvements and lighting for area streets. The project was completed in 2006 with a total cost of $14M.
