SKW was selected to provide survey, civil site engineering, landscape architecture and construction-phase services to build the new LEED™ Silver certified, 300,000 s.f. high school on the 233-acre site. Civil site development on the project included preserved stream ways and wetlands, detention and retention facilities, infiltration trenches, vegetated swales, bio retention basins and stream way grade control structures, as well as the reuse of stormwater runoff for a drip irrigation system.  Site development also included the design plans for public water mains to be built in conjunction with the new roadway construction to the school. SKW also provided water quality permit services to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
