Courthouse Updates Bring Life to Historic Building

SKW provided a study to assist Daviess County with obtaining grant funding to upgrade the electrical system in the historic courthouse in downtown Gallitan, MO. SKW designed updated plumbing to bring the facilities into conformance with ADA guidelines. Work included additional insulation for the water lines and drain pipes, electrical panel schedule creation to note circuits used for the water heaters, and installation of a door sweep. The grant provided for additional designs to upgrade the main distribution panel and replace the 200A distribution panels with 225A panels and 400A panels. Conduit was reused where possible and new surface mounted raceway was installed for new loads.
