Rain Gardens and Stormwater Issues - Beautiful Landscaping to Improve Water Quality and Reduce Flooding

The attached presentation was given at the Rain Garden Seminar hosted by the Columbia/Boone County Rain Garden Program (sponsored by the Missouri River Communities Network through a small EPA/MDNR grant). The seminar was held in Columbia, MO on July 31, 2009. The presentation covers basic information related to stormwater quantity and quality management specifically as it relates to the use of rain gardens as an infiltration best management practice. The presentation was given by Christina Luebbert, P.E., CFM, LEED AP, Project Manager – Shafer, Kline and Warren, Inc.
