Renowned for surveying and engineering since 1950, Shafer, Kline & Warren (SKW) hosted an open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate its new, expanded Tulsa office on Thursday, Sept. 8.

The event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce at 4:30 p.m. and remarks from SKW’s leadership, followed by tours of the office and refreshments.

With offices in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas, SKW’s surveying, engineering and construction services help clients make everyday life better, easier and safer through comprehensive solutions for energy and infrastructure.

“It is an exciting time for our company, and we are proud to be expanding our presence in Tulsa,” said SKW CEO Ron Petering, P.E., PTOE. “With the addition of our integrity construction team, we are able to offer comprehensive pipeline integrity solutions in addition to our water and infrastructure solutions for Tulsa and its surrounding communities.”

SKW’s Tulsa office is located at 5800 East Skelly Drive, Suite 200. In addition to its Tulsa office, SKW also has a construction yard in Tulsa, which houses its Tulsa-based construction crew’s equipment and includes indoor fabrication facilities.

“We have seen growing client demand for pipeline integrity work as companies work to ensure safety and meet regulatory requirements,” said Brandon Pipesh, vice president of pipeline integrity and construction. “Tulsa is one of the busiest intersections of the pipeline industry, which makes it a key mobilization point for us.”

In addition to its pipeline integrity and construction services, SKW Tulsa-based team includes water resources staff whose work helps municipalities with the effective treatment and distribution of water and wastewater.

“Helping Tulsa-area cities manage and maintain their water systems is very rewarding work as it helps to ensure these communities continue to thrive,” said Danny Coltrane, managing director of SKW Water Resources – South. “It was great to be able to celebrate our new office with our clients. We are truly proud to be part of the Tulsa community.”

SKW opened its first Tulsa office in 2007 as part of its growth in the energy industry. SKW also has an office in Weatherford, Oklahoma, to serve its clients throughout the state.
