Gary Strack Elected to Executive Committee of MSPE

strack gd-dressGary Strack, P.E., SECB, was elected as a Board of Directors representative to the Executive Committee of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE), a 1,400-member statewide engineering association headquartered in Jefferson City, MO.  As one of two Board of Directors representatives on the Executive Committee, Gary has become a voting member of the society’s governing and decision-making body.

Gary is an Associate at SKW and Structural Engineer with more than 30 years of experience.  He is known for his expertise in dealing with transportation projects revolving around bridges, and has worked on different aspects of bridge engineering for more than 200 structures.

In addition to MSPE, Gary is also a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA), Engineer's Club of Kansas City, National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Transportation Engineers Association of Missouri.  In his role on the APWA Leadership and Management Committee, Gary has authored or co-authored six papers published in the APWA Reporter.

Founded in 1937, MSPE is an engineering association with the objective to enhance the image and well being of professional engineers through the advocacy of strong licensure laws and the ethical and competent practice of engineering to protect the public health, safety and welfare.  MSPE is divided geographically into 10 chapters and by specialty into five practice areas: construction, government, higher education, industry and private practice.
