KCASA Names SKW Engineering Firm of the Year

SKW was named “Engineering Firm of the Year” by The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association (KCASA) at their annual awards banquet held March 16 in Overland Park, KS. The American Subcontractors Association is an organization with more than 8,000 member companies and 69 chapters nationwide that represent all construction subcontractors, specialty trade contractors, and suppliers. The KCASA awards honor businesses and individuals in a range of industry categories, such as: Engineering Firm, General Contractor, Architectural Firm, Project Manager and Project Superintendent. Honorees were nominated and voted upon by the KCASA members. Nine other KC area engineering firms were nominated for the award.

“It is an honor to be recognized by KCASA as the Engineering Firm of the Year in a category that included many outstanding firms,” said SKW’s Tom Smith, who accepted the award at the banquet. “To be selected by a group of our peers brings a great deal of pride to all of our employees.”
