Fulton Water Tower Gets Second Life

On Monday, August 15, the City of Fulton began a very unique restoration project. Using a creative idea presented by SKW, the renovation involved cutting the City's unused south water tower in half then lifting the 500,000 gallon tower bowl with two cranes, while a smaller crane inserted a new section into the middle of the standpipe, raising the tower. The project has been documented by a number area media.
