In 2005, the City of Fulton, MO, added two new, higher water towers to increase water pressure throughout town, which rendered their original tower useless.  SKW proposed to raise the original 500,0000 gallon, single-pedestal, elevated water tank approximately 48 ft. to match the newer towers and regain functionality."Out-of-the-box thinking is one of the prime reasons SKW was awarded our project. SKW came up with a creative plan and a unique, turnkey delivery method. We love it!" Greg Hayes, Public Works Director. Restoration began in August 2011 and involved cutting the water tower in half, lifting the water tank bowl with two cranes, and inserting a new section into the middle of the standpipe.  The solution increased the City’s water storage capabilities while saving them money over the cost of new construction.
