On-Call Services (50th Street Drainage-Bio-retention)

As part of our on-call contract, SKW designed a bio-retention basin within the City of Riverside, MO.  The project included calculations as required for area and depth of the bio-retention facility in order to treat the upstream drainage area per the MARC Manual of Best Management Practices for Stormwater Quality.  Plans and technical specifications were generated for the ~1500 s.f. facility detailing the construction of the basin along with the underdrains, soil matrix and plantings as well as the specific vegetation to be placed prior to placement of the soil matrix (to prevent clogging).
