North Cates Branch Channel

The engineering and land surveying services for the construction of 2,000 l.f. of storm drainage improvements in a 300-acre residential and commercial area in Liberty, MO, was provided by SKW.  SKW’s scope of services included: utility research and coordination, field surveys of the watershed to collect design data, rock probe borings, records research, storm drainage and hydraulic calculations, acting as property owner liaison, and design and derivation of preliminary concepts and alternatives.  Project was completed in three phases.  The final phase involved extensive bioengineering to retain area's natural state and to maintain the integrity of the surrounding historical district.
