South Leavenworth Park Master Plan

To revise the previous Master Plan of South Leavenworth Park, in Leavenworth, KS, SKW provided surveying, planning, landscape architecture and civil engineering services.  The 80-acre site combines a middle school with active park amenities.  SKW's Master Plan included four baseball fields, a combined football/soccer/track facility, four additional regulation soccer fields, several practice fields, playground areas, picnic shelters, concession/restroom facilities, a maintenance building and parking. SKW's civil team prepared the site development package for both the school and park including roadways, parking lots, sidewalk repairs, street lighting, sanitary sewer, traffic signals, final grading, storm drainage, box culverts, pedestrian bridge and preparation of construction documents.
