Mill Creek Drainage Master Plan Surveys

SKW was retained to complete a stormwater Master Plan for the Mill Creek Watershed (7.8 square miles) in Kansas City, MO. The project scope included developing informational brochures, facilitating public meetings, conducting citizen complaint surveys, and developing a digital orthophoto base map with property land use characteristics. SKW collected field data for storm sewer structure location and building finished floor elevations, surveyed cross sections through open channels, and created ArcView GIS themes for the storm system analysis using SWMM and HEC-RAS software.
