Shawnee Mission Maintenance Facility

This project in Overland Park, KS, incorporated the services of several of SKW’s departments including survey, civil site, water and waste water, landscape architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical.  The renovation included the incorporation of an existing pole barn.  New construction included:

• Bulk materials storage bins including a liquid calcium chloride pumping station
• An additional equipment and materials storage building
• An equipment cleaning facility
• An equipment and materials storage building with loading dock connected to a salt barn
• A detention basin
• Reconstruction of a storm sewer channel
• Fence construction
• Regrading and replacement of existing asphalt and gravel surface with new asphalt
• Landscaping plantings
