3MGD Water Treatment Plant
The City of Burlington, KS completed construction on a new water treatment plant in March of 2006. SKW was not only chosen for final design, bid and construction phase services, but also provided the preliminary engineering report to determine various alternatives for expansion and regulation compliance. Alternatives evaluated included modifying existing conventional water treatment plant and constructing a new one at various sites using various treatment technologies. The $5.9 million dollar project was funded in part through State Revolving Funds.
