SKW provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for the renovation of a courtroom and ancillary spaces for the UMKC Law School.  Lighting was improved, which included a new dimming system.  A combination of direct/indirect fluorescent fixtures and can fixtures serve the courtroom, and 2 x 4 prismatic and parabolic fixtures serve the ancillary spaces.  Restrooms were upgraded and water-saving fixtures were installed.  The HVAC system was modified to meet the changes in room size, ceilings and occupancy, and the security AV and IT systems were replaced with state-of-art systems.
