SKW prepared a comprehensive engineering design survey of the intersection at 119th Street and Antioch Road in Overland Park, KS. The immense amount of traffic moving through this intersection 24 hours a day proved a challenge to conventional survey techniques. SKW utilized the HDS scanner for this project, and it provided an immense amount of exceptionally accurate topographic data with no lane closures in a fraction of the time it would have taken with traditional survey equipment and minimal field personnel. 

A point cloud was then used in conjunction with AutoCAD to prepare design deliverables to the client.
